The Brooklands paddock was a celebration of the older racer at FoS. From the huge Edwardian pioneers of motorsport, like the Fiat S76 and Mors Grand Prix, via relatively svelte machinery like the Bugatti Type 35 and onto the likes of Jaguar E-types and AC Cobras.
Our crack photographer Tom Shaxson explored the paddock – his fantastic gallery may miss out on the evocative sounds and smells of the Brooklands paddock, but he has captured the great engineering details of these elderly machines.
