What other racing drivers will we see at Goodwood?
Why yes! Now we’re just a week or so away from the Festival we have a slew of new names added to our list. From the world of Formula 1, George Russell – currently sitting in fourth in the standings and the only F1 driver to finish in the top five of every race so far in 2022 will drive a Mercedes-AMG F1 car from 2019. Fellow Mercedes driver, fresh from racing at Le Mans, Esteban Gutierrez will also take to the hill over the weekend.
Timed Shootout record holder Nick Heidfeld will return, driving the brand new Gen3 Formula E car and fellow former FE driver Neel Jani will also be on the Hill over the weekend. Current Outright record holder Romain Dumas is also returning to the Goodwood Hill.
TT legend John McGuinness will be back at Goodwood, along with fellow two-wheeled stars Jeremy McWilliams, Steve Parish, Michael Rutter and Jenny Tinmouth. From the world of drifting, Baggsy is returning with his bonkers, LS-swapped Nissan GT-R.
As if that wasn’t a good enough list, we can also add stars including Sir Chris Hoy, touring car legend Klaus Ludwig, Extreme E star Catie Munnings, sportscar legend Brian Redman, German ace Hans Stuck, multiple F1 race winner John Watson and many more at the Festival. This page will be regularly updated with more names as they are confirmed.
