It feels like it’s been a hot minute since we’ve seen some proper clench-worthy low-grip high-speed racing at Goodwood, because it has. The Revival was almost six months ago. So if like us you’re feeling a bit impoverished boy, have we the video for you today. Ten wholesome minutes of pre-war weapons slithering about on a damp track, with their drivers wrestling for control.
It really is controlled chaos as cars like the Owlet howl round the track, pitch into turns and sit on the edge of grip. It sounds like a juxtaposition but their inputs are aggressive yet delicate, for what appears to be controlled chaos. Who would have thought that an old pre-war Frazer Nash could give drift champ and 2023 Formula Drift competitor James Deane a run for his money on sideways action.
