Video: How Hot Rod legends came to Revival

This year, in celebration of 70 years of the National Hot Rod Association, the Revival brought smoky burnouts, wheely bars and cookie cutter wheels to West Sussex. The familiar Gasoline Alley took on a whole new lease of life, expanding hugely and adding the Earl's Raceway, a staged dragstrip. Filling it were cars representing the golden age of hot rodding from the '50s and '60s including a huge array of the unmistakeable Ford '32, immortalised as the 'Little Deuce Coupe'.

Also making a special guest appearance was the Rolling Bones hot rod group from New York who flew over an incredible array of cars to add a layer of stateside glamour and grit. 

In this video we delve into the growth of Hot Rod culture and how it hooped the pond to take root in Britain as well as the US. Time to hit the blacktop and burn some rubber.
