Maserati Brings the spirit of La Dolce Vita to the Revival

The track came alive with an extraordinary showcase of engineering evolution spanning from the 1930s to the late 1950s. The shapes, sizes, and iconic racing colours varied across decades of design, demonstrating how the famous trident mastered both two-seater sports cars and single-seater Grand Prix racers. This legendary parade brought together a crown jewel collection of racing greats, including the striking A6GCS, the beautifully balanced 250F, the potent 300S, and the intricate Tipo 61 ‘Birdcage’.

It stood out as the most authentically Italian parade of the weekend. The atmosphere of La Dolce Vita was effortlessly completed by a fleet of vintage Vespa scooters humming alongside their four-wheeled compatriots. Adding a touch of deep family poignancy, several of the two-seaters were crewed by fathers and sons. This served as a beautiful nod to the brand's own origin story, which was born from the passion of five brothers inspired by their engineer father.

These historic machines did not just parade; they spent the weekend challenging the memory of their fierce German rivals of the era. Beyond the morning celebration, spectators were treated to seeing these magnificent trident cars pushed to their limits in fierce wheel-to-wheel combat. They headlined some of the most prestigious races on the historic calendar, including the Lavant Cup’s ‘Battle of Modena’, the Richmond & Gordon Trophies, the Brooklands Trophy, and the revered Goodwood Trophy.
