Vintage elegance and sustainable style take centre stage at Goodwood Revival

Stepping into the Revival Style Village has the feeling of entering a fashion show. Fully embracing the glamour of La Dolce Vita, visitors wander through bustling streets packed with independent vintage boutiques. Filled with unique clothing, rare memorabilia and stunning floral arrangements, the village brings the finest period fashion to the forefront, from exquisite fabrics to vintage sunglasses. The atmosphere is always electric, too, aided no doubt by the retro DJ sets from Ginger Fizz and Gianna-Skye.

At the hub of the village, hosts Dandy Wellington and Amber Butchart lead fascinating style conversations. This weekend has seen interviews with Derry Girls star Jamie-Lee O'Donnell and Bridgerton’s Golda Rosheuvel on costume and character design. Audiences have also gathered to hear The Traitors star Stephen Libby discuss the art of vintage sourcing, while fashion icon Dame Zandra Rhodes shared 50 years of industry secrets.

Heritage took centre stage with Ancestry, presenters of the highly anticipated Best Dressed Competition, and explored the family trees of Stephen Libby, Paula Sutton, and Jodie Kidd. Meanwhile, Betty’s Salon presented by Regent Seven Seas Cruises have kept visitors looking immaculate throughout the day with authentic period hairstyles.

Stepping over to the Revive & Thrive workshops, the focus shifts to hands-on creativity and sustainability. Guests can learn the art of circular fashion, participating in Vintage Brooch Upcycling with the Oxfam Festival Shop and learn to embroider their own monograms with Wicked and Bridgerton costume designer Hattie McGill.

It would simply not be the Goodwood Revival the Revival Style Village and its celebration of style. Its authenticity is what makes the weekend so deeply memorable for everyone who attends, which makes it a must-see destination on your visit to the Motor Circuit.
