This week Pink Floyd drummer and Goodwood regular Nick Mason celebrated his 72nd birthday. What better way to join in the festivities than to share with you one of the amazing cars in his glorious collection?
Back in 2015 (it seems so long ago now) Nick was kind enough to bring a few of his best motors down to Goodwood for some hot lappage. With him came Members’ Meeting house captain and five-time Le Mans winner Emanuele Pirro to show those lucky enough to be given a ride exactly how it’s done.
In this video the Audi stalwart takes one of the lucky punters out in the stunning blue LaFerrari, to show exactly what the 900bhp hybrid beast can do on track. Unfortunately for his passenger the heavens decided to open in an incredibly un-Goodwood manner, leaving the track sodden and meaning Pirro’s talent was tested to the max.
