Ever since the new Lexus LC was first unveiled to the world back at the beginning of 2016 we have been waiting ever so patiently and with ever more of a yearning to have a go in it.

Now the car is headed to the Festival of Speed presented by Mastercard so you can see it in the flesh. But before it takes to the hill Lexus let us lucky people at GRR have a short, but oh-so-sweet, play with it.
As you will see in the video above, in the flesh the car is absolutely as beautiful as you might hope. The angular face and those classic coupe lines meld beautifully – and then just to give you that final kick, it bursts out a wonderful V8 roar.
We will bring you much more about the LC500 later, but for now, here's a tantalising teaser of what this jaw-dropping car has in store.
