The F1 teams coming to the 2026 Festival of Speed

Alpine

Alpine will be bringing both of its F1 drivers to the 2026 Festival of Speed. Pierre Gasly and Franco Colapinto will each be here at Goodwood to put on a show on the Hill, meet fans and drive the latest of Alpine’s road car line-up.

Gasly and Colapinto will both be tasked with putting the 2012 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix-winning E20 F1 car through its paces on the Hill on Thursday and Sunday of the event respectively, and they’ll be joined by F1 Academy contender Nina Gademan, Formula 2 challenger Alex Dunne, and Alpine F1 reserve driver Paul Aron across the weekend.

Aston Martin 

Aston Martin has announced its plans for the 2026 Festival Speed, where its 2025 challenger, the AMR25, will take to the Hill with driving duties shared between Jak Crawford and Jessica Hawkins.

Reserve driver Crawford finished second in the 2025 Formula 2 Championship, while Hawkins serves as the Head of Aston Martin’s F1 Academy programme as well as currently competing in the British GT GT4 Championship.

The two will have their first experience tackling the Hill at the wheel of the AMR25, which achieved a best finish of fifth with Fernando Alonso at the 2025 Hungarian Grand Prix in a season that saw the team finish seventh in the Constructor’s Championship.

Crawford and Hawkins will also be appearing at the all-new FOS Fan Zone presented by Pirelli, where fans can learn more about their experiences in motorsport and perhaps how they found the exhilarating challenge of driving the AMR25 up the Hill.

Ferrari 

This year Ferrari is celebrating 75 years of F1 success, a legacy that began with José Froilán González’s victory at the British Grand Prix in 1951 and continues through to Lewis Hamilton’s breakthrough maiden win in red at the 2026 Spanish Grand Prix.

As the longest-serving and most decorated team in the sport's history, Ferrari is a name synonymous with Formula 1, and with the Festival of Speed’s theme being  "The Rivals – Epic Racing Duels," the presence of the Italian outfit is fundamental as the common denominator in motorsport's greatest stories, from Niki Lauda’s formidable Ferrari 312T that went wheel-to-wheel with James Hunt's McLaren M23 in 1976, to Alain Prost’s legendary duels with Ayrton Senna and the dominance of Michael Schumacher.

The Festival of Speed will be the stage for Ferrari to showcase its unparalleled legacy, we eagerly wait to hear more details on exactly who and what might be present at the event this summer.

McLaren

Reigning Constructors’ Champions McLaren are celebrating in a huge way at the 2026 Festival of Speed, as World Champion Lando Norris prepares to be exalted on the Balcony of Goodwood House on Saturday. Before he greets the crowds, Norris will take to the Hill in the MCL60, McLaren’s 2023 F1 car in which Norris achieved seven podium finishes.

McLaren is also bringing three heritage models to the event: 1993’s MP4/8, the car that Ayrton Senna drove to his final Grand Prix victory, and the MP4/8B, a Lamborghini-engined development model that hasn’t been seen since its preliminary tests in 1993.

Finally, the 50^th anniversary of James Hunt’s 1976 World Championship is being celebrated at this year’s Festival, and McLaren is marking the occasion by bringing the M23 to the Hill. Reserve driver Leonardo Fornaroli will be driving the MCL60 on Thursday, Friday and Sunday, while Fornaroli, Bruno Senna and Rob Garofall will share driving duties for the other three cars across the four-day event.

Mercedes

Current Formula 1 Constructors’ Championship leader Mercedes boast its biggest ever presence at the Festival of Speed in 2026 with the debut of its new fan hub, where its 2018 challenger, the W09, will be the testing ground for visitors to experience the task of a pitstop for themselves — all under the expert supervision of Mercedes’ former and current mechanics.

When it comes to the Hill, third driver Fred Vesti will be steering the W13 — the car that delivered George Russell his maiden Grand Prix win in Brazil in 2022 — up the 1.16-mile course. You can see Vesti and the W13, adorned in Mercedes’ 2026 livery, on Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the Festival of Speed.

Red Bull & Racing Bulls

Joining the list is Red Bull and its sister team, Racing Bulls, both of whom are bringing a host of famous faces to the Festival of Speed. Representing Red Bull is current star Isack Hadjar, reserve driver Yuki Tsunoda, who contested 22 Grands Prix with the team in 2025, and the team’s longest-serving driver, Patrick Friesacher.

Arvid Lindblad and Liam Lawson will both be present over the weekend representing Racing Bulls. The duo have scored 44 points between them do date in the 2026 Formula 1 season, with the team presently sitting sixth in the Constructors’ standings. They will be joined by reserve driver Ayumu Iwasa, winner of the 2025 Super Formula Championship.

The two teams are keeping the exact choice of machinery tightly under wraps for now, but whether it consist of a screaming V8 heritage model, a modern hybrid beast or a sleek custom-liveried challenger, this stellar line-up is guaranteed to deliver the signature flair and high-speed we’d expect from the Red Bull family.

Williams 

Williams was the first F1 team to announce its plans for the 2026 Festival of Speed, as we look ahead to celebrating the 30^th anniversary of Damon Hill’s World Championship triumph with the Grove outfit. 

The car that he drove to the title, the FW18, has been expertly restored by Williams F1 Team Heritage and will be ready to fire up once again and tackle the famous Goodwood Hill in the hands of Hill, in July. 

The 1996 World Champion will be sharing driving duties of the FW18 with Williams Team Principal James Vowles, while Williams Reserve and Super Formula driver Luke Browning, and Williams F1 Academy Adviser Jamie Chadwick will be driving Keke Rosberg's Championship-winning FW08C up the Hill across the weekend.
