It's only a little over 12 hours since the Kinrara Trophy, the first race of the weekend, came to an end as the sun set. Now entrants, drivers and spectators alike are gearing up for the first full day's racing.
Before the the crowds gathered, engines were started and the morning silence was broken, our photographers captured this gallery of images while the sun came up. Take a look through and decide which cars you'll want to see in action throughout the rest of the weekened.
