We’ve become quite familiar with Gymkhana over the years, but things could be about to change. Enter Electrikhana which is, put simply, Ken Block coming into the all-electric age. He’s doing so via a one-off Audi super EV that he and the German marque have christened the S1 Hoonitron – a play on and contraction of Block’s ‘hoon’ and Audi’s ‘e-tron’ brands.

The car itself looks absolutely insane, like Group B meets The Avengers or Transformers, so a stage needs to be set that matches the drama of the car. Where else than Las Vegas can achieve that? Seeing and hearing this thing smoking around, with screaming motors eviscerating rubber in typical trademark Block fashion, is a melding of the past and future of one of the most outlandish arenas of car culture. All the sights of Vegas are there, with this unbelievable mutant Sport Quattro from the future raising hell in the streets below. Watch on and enjoy.
