We’ve already delivered galleries, videos and stories on the resurrection of the beautiful Atalanta. Video: Putting the 204bhp 1937 Atalanta to work
Of course, to describe it as such an amalgam does a disservice to both how good it looks, and the fact that this is a machine heavily inspire by those first born in a simpler time. But as mentioned above, we’ve gone through the story of this cars comeback in previous posts. How, in the spirit of the name, it utilises thoroughly modern engineering under that gorgeous body. What we haven’t shown is the proof of that engineering. Happily, you’ll find this car and its creators based out of Bicester Heritage. This facility has an airfield. Watch, in the raw video above, as the 204bhp Atalanta shakes off its elegance for a thrash around the course.
