Eighteen years. That’s how long we will have been without the ridiculous highly-strung GT1 cars of the late '90s by the time #75MM comes around. Messrs 911 GT1 and CLK GTR took the series into which they entered, and flogged it with their raw ability and the glaringness of the loopholes that they blatantly exploited.

It was a short but sweet flourish of German lunacy. What could be more gloriously (or painfully) ‘90s than these spectacular machines? The television programs of the time that featured them, of course.
