FXX K Evo, 488 Pista and 812 Superfast to star for Ferrari at FOS
&width=1600)
The new 488 Pista (that's Italian for 'track') follows in the footsteps of other V8 special series models, the 360 Challenge Stradale and 430 Scuderia, and as such comes with massive expectations. With a top speed of 211mph and 0-62mph in 2.85 seconds, it is reputedly the fastest-ever production car around Ferrari's Fiorano test track. Expect fireworks on the Goodwood hill with this one.
The 812 Superfast is Ferrari’s latest word in front-engined V12 performance and luxury touring, though with an amazing 789bhp from its 6.5-litre naturally-aspirated motor its performance puts some out-and-out supercars to shame.

Ferrari is promising lots more in addition to this ‘First Glance’ duo. Prancing horses in the Michelin Supercar Run include the Portofino convertible and the GTC4 Lusso T, another car with Ferrari’s acclaimed 3.9-litre twin-turbo V8 powering it. The LaFerrari Aperta will be here again, in case you missed it at its debut in 2017, while budding Ferrari racers should head for the Supercar Paddock to check out the latest track-only cars from Ferrari’s Corse Clienti division: the FXX, 599XX and FXX K EVO.
Mere mortals meanwhile can join the Ferrari pit stop crew. No, really. New for 2018 is the Ferrari Pit Stop Challenge. Set up in the in the Race Car Paddock, FoS visitors can have a go at changing wheels on the Ferrari 488 GTE from Le Mans this year in simulated race conditions.
How fast do you think you could manage it?
