The Goodwood Revival presented by Dunlop is full of vibrant shopping spots where you can pick up beautiful, handcrafted wares. Ahead of this year’s event, we’ve spoken to the creative minds behind a selection of these items, who will be trading at the Revival, to learn more about their creative processes.
Jade Sabber spoke with us about Opatra, its ethos and how this fits perfectly with the spirt of the Goodwood Revival.

Wandering through the shopping area at the Revival’s super popular Over the Road site you will come across Opatra, leading experts in advanced skin care technology who offer a whole new take on this ethos, and they’re preparing to showcase their wealth of knowledge and product range with visitors.
Founded in London in 2010, Opatra was formed to bring advanced skin care technology out of professional clinics and into people’s everyday routines. They have cleverly combined scientific innovation, cutting edge beauty devices and high-performance skincare formulations to help achieve healthier more radiant skin.
“At Opatra we believe that beauty and technology should work hand in hand,” Sabber told us. “Our ethos is centred around innovation, education, and empowerment — helping people to take control of their skin health through advanced skincare technologies and scientifically developed products. Our philosophy is Repair. Maintain. Prevent, and we are committed to supporting skin at every stage of life, focusing on long term skin health rather than short term fixes."
“Goodwood Revival is a celebration of craftsmanship, innovation and timeless design which are all values which resonate strongly with Opatra. The circuit’s era — 1948-1966 — was one of extraordinary technological progress in motorsport when engineers continually pushed boundaries in pursuit of performance and reliability, and we see a similar spirit within the skincare industry today.
“While our technologies couldn’t be more modern, the principles of quality, precision and continuous improvement would be instantly recognisable to the innovators of Goodwood’s golden era.”
Sabber drew several comparisons between motorsport development and the advancement of skincare technology.
“Skincare has evolved dramatically since the circuit first opened. In the late 1940s and 1950s, beauty routines were often focused primarily on cosmetics and surface appearance. Today, people are far more informed about skin health, environmental factors and the science behind ageing.
"Consumers now understand that healthy skin is an investment, much like maintaining a classic car. There is greater awareness around hydration, UV protection, collagen preservation, and preventative skincare with people seeking evidence-based solutions rather than simply cosmetic cover ups.

“Both industries are driven by research, precision engineering, and the pursuit of measurable performance improvements. In motorsport, small innovations in aerodynamics, materials or mechanics can create significant gains on the track. In skincare advances in technologies such as LED light therapy, ultrasonic cleansing and non-invasive rejuvenation can deliver meaningful improvements in skin health and appearance."
Sustainability is at the heart of the Goodwood Revival, and ethos echoed by Opatra. “We evaluate the environmental and social impact of our products and are committed to helping customers to make informed decisions,” explained Sabber. “We also believe that investing in high-quality devices designed for long-term use supports a more considered approach to beauty consumption.
“Goodwood Revival’s Revive & Thrive ethos, which celebrates repair, restoration, longevity, and thoughtful consumption are also pillars of our business at Opatra where we advocate for caring and preserving skin through effective long-term solutions rather than disposable beauty trends.”
