There is a saying that there's nothing as fun as driving a slow car fast. Well this video makes us think that actually think that maybe making a slow car really fast is even better.
Video: Bonkers bike‑engined superminis
These are Proto P2 class machines in Italy, essentially tiny Fiat and Autobianchi hatchbacks that have been gutted and fitted with spaceframe chassis and mid-mounted motorbike engines to create what are essentially the maddest silhouette racers ever. Most run Kawasaki Ninja engines which are stroked for extra capacity and power, these are absolute screamers which look as much fun as their huge wheel arches and wings imply. We want one for the office.
