What happens in Maranello doesn’t stay in Maranello, much to the chagrin of probably its biggest commercial resident. Whatever Ferrari is up to these days doesn’t stay secret for long and the SF90 Stradale Version Speciale is no exception. Yes, Ferrari is due to update its series-production hypercar very soon, and here we have some video footage of it in action.
Video: Ferrari SF90 Versione Speciale caught testing
In the video, we see the updated model leaving the gates, with camo obscuring a new splitter and redesigned bumper. We then see a totally camouflaged car, with an enormous wing, a new exhaust and a very aggressive nose. What it doesn’t show in its entirety, but that we know to be there, is the width-spanning light bar that replaces the four single lights at the back. This will put the Version Speciale in line visually with both the SP3 and the 499P Le Mans Hypercar. What we don’t know yet, is whether it’ll have more than the 1,000PS (735kW) of the current Stradale. What do you think of what you’ve seen of this SF90 update so far?
