Many of the race preparers and restorers we visit for this series will focus on a particular marque or era of racing to specialise in, whether that is vintage Bentleys or the ultimate E-types.
The array of racing machinery which greeted us at Blakeney Motorsport’s 35,000sq ft facility in Hertfordshire could hardly have been more eclectic and exciting, however, from a tiny supercharged Austin 7 trials car to a BMW 3.0 CSL ‘Batmobile’. Then of course there is the wickedly fast Lister-Jaguar Costin coupe and of course the Frazer Nashes with which the company first made its name.
