Dun dun dun dun duuuuuuun, must be nearly time for the 2023 F1 season to begin. Why? Because it's March? No, because the intro titles have been released, silly.
Video: F1 releases new 2023 opening titles
There’s not a lot to say about them, let's be honest, and you’re going to see these at least 23 times during this ridiculously long season (46 if you watch qualifying, 52 if you watch all the sprints and 121 if you watch every session) so actually maybe you shouldn’t watch this. But, we’re already all humming Brian Tyler’s theme in our sleep so what does one more time hurt?
– In case F1 blocks embedding the YouTube video, as it likes to do, here is the Instagram version:
All 20 drivers are in it, Lewis Hamilton looks angry, Carlos Sainz Jr. looks perplexed, Valtteri Bottas looks like a redneck, Charles Leclerc is definitely trying to seduce us and Nyck De Vries looks like he’s having headshots for his upcoming ted talk on business development. I'm sure it was a lovely day in the hellscape that is F1's big video wall room.
When I wrote this it had been watched 100,000 times in less than 40 minutes so you all obviously haven’t tired of the theme yet. Bring on this weekend I guess.
