Spoiled for choice, that's what the Silverstone Classic is. The battle at the front of their Can-Am/Interserie race was incredible, as two completely different cars fought for the lead. One, a growling V8 McLaren M8F with Andy Newall at the wheel, the other a screaming V12 Matra driven by Rob Hall.

The two Goodwood regulars fought two awesome tussles across the weekend's races, with the Matra more nimble through the twisty bits, but the McLaren much faster on the straights.
The battle came to a head when Hall finally found a way past Newall exiting the loop, but it all gets a little too close when the cars reach Brooklands. Who'd like to see more?
