A field of glorious 1950s sports racers made up the grid for the final race of the Revival weekend, the Sussex Trophy. JD Classics driver Chris Ward was in contention in the Lister-Jaguar ‘Costin’ until the car unfortunately got stuck in fourth gear.
If you’re going to get stuck in a high gear, a fast track like Goodwood is probably the best place to be, although being slowed by traffic at St Mary’s was an issue. Meanwhile, Bobby Verdon-Roe took victory in the NART Ferrari 246S Dino. A great end to a terrific weekend. Can we do it again soon?
