If anyone fits the ‘Addicted to Winning’ theme of this year’s FoS, it’s Sebastian Loeb with his unrivalled nine World Rally Championship crowns and 78 rally victories. He’ll return to Goodwood for this year’s event, taking his Citroen DS3 WRC car up the hill and on the Forest Rally Stage.
Having retired from rallying, he has no intention of quitting motorsport; as well as famously taking to the challenge of Pikes Peak with Citroen sister brand Peugeot, he has embarked on an assault of the World Touring Car Championship in a Citroen C-Elysee (a C4 saloon that we don’t get in the UK).

It’s powered by an evolved version of the 1.6-litre turbo engine from Loeb’s rally car, this time with a power output of over 380bhp. While the DS3 rally car is in action, the C-Elysee will be on static display on the Citroen stand opposite Goodwood House.
The DS3 is not the only car Loeb will drive at Goodwood. He will also take the Pikes Peak Peugeot up the hill… and pundits suggest he’s in with a good chance of setting the best time of the day.
