How to find us:
For information on how to find the Motor Circuit, please visit the How To Find Us page. When you arrive through the main entrance of the Motor Circuit, proceed through the tunnel and follow the road round to the left along a long tree-lined road. Parking is located in the Paddock Shelters and is free of charge.
Arrival:
Morning guests to arrive at the Jackie Stewart Pavilion at your specified arrival time (see the itinerary above). Afternoon guests to arrive at the Race Control Building. You'll have the opportunity to have some complimentary refreshments whilst you complete the necessary sign-on forms before joining your driver's briefing.
Noise testing:
After signing on, please take your car to the noise test area which is currently located on the north side of the paddocks. Most noise tests will be completed before the drivers' briefing. Please follow the marshal's instructions as to where to park your car after noise testing. Please ensure that you are aware of the noise level of your track day. If your vehicle fails, you will not be entitled to a refund. For more information on noise testing, please visit the Noise Management page. If you have any questions about noise, call the Pit Lane office on 01243 755093.
Drivers' briefing:
Attendance to the Drivers' Briefing is mandatory and will take place in the Jackie Stewart Pavilion with the Chief Instructor.
What to wear:
Motorsport can be dangerous, and we want you to be safe at all times. You must wear trousers and flat shoes for your experience. We will provide you with an Ultimate Driving helmet. If you're driving a soft-top car, please wear a long-sleeved top, as well as trousers and flat shoes.
Helmets:
Helmets are compulsory for drivers and passenger. If you do not own a helmet, these can be borrowed from the Motor Circuit office.
What to bring with you:
It is mandatory to bring your driving licence with you on the day as our Motor Circuit team need to check this before you drive.
Car Parking:
Car Parking is available at Goodwood Motor Circuit, with all cars to be removed by 7pm on the same day.
Lunch:
Lunch is included for one driver only during your Track Day, so if you're bringing a guest, one extra lunch can be purchased through the Ticket Office for £150 per person, which includes Festival of Speed entry and shuttle service. Lunches cannot be booked on the day and must be booked 72 hours in advance. To book, please call 01243 755055.
Instruction:
A Goodwood instructor will be available for 15-minute sessions throughout the day on a first-come-first-served basis. This must be booked four weeks before your experience. If you would like to book individual instruction, please contact the Ticket Office on 01243 755055.
Vehicle preparation:
Please find our helpful tips on how to prepare your vehicle for the Goodwood Track day on our Vehicle Preparation page.
Weather:
It is doubtful that we would have to postpone your experience, but your experience could be cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather conditions (e.g. snow, ice, heavy rain or high winds), making driving at speed dangerous. Please call 01243 755055 if in any doubt.
Enjoying your day:
Goodwood Motor Circuit is committed to safeguarding the wellbeing of all visitors and ensuring the best possible day out is had by all. We operate a zero-tolerance policy on drugs, and any person taking part in a Goodwood Track Day as a driver must have ensured no alcohol is consumed before the experience taking place.
