The Magnolia Cup
We are delighted to announce that the Magnolia Cup is back in 2021
In 2019, twelve inspirational women, including Khadijah Mellah, burst through the stalls and raced down the Goodwood homestraight in a flash of vibrant colour from their beautiful, bespoke silks.
The race made headlines around the globe, as she became the first women to not only ride, but win a race in Britian wearing a hijab. This remarkable feat became the subject of 'Riding a Dream', which chartered her phenominal acheievements.
Each year riders are selected to take part from all walks of life, none are professional jockeys - but their resilience and determination has helped changed the perceptions of women in sport.
This renowned charity event sees riders who are the leading women of business, sport, fashion and media, take part in the opening race of Ladies' Day, at one of the most exciting horseracing events in the world.
We will shortly be announcing this year's wonderful charity, iconic silk designer and line-up of intrepid riders.
