Simply Extraordinary

Ever since the 1st Duke of Richmond built Goodwood House to entertain guests while attending the fashionable Charlton Hunt, the Estate has played host to a variety of thrilling events.

Born out of our sporting passions, our flagship events are known the world over. We strive to be brave and surprising in all that we do and always to deliver memorable experiences with a distinctly Goodwood twist. For over 200 years, Glorious Goodwood has traditionally been the final fling in the summer social season. Now known as the Qatar Goodwood Festival, it offers five days of exceptional horse racing.

In the past two decades we’ve also hosted annual motosport events that have similarly grown to become famous in their own right.

Goodwood Revival – an homage to Freddie March, the 9th Duke of Richmond – is both a magical trip back in time and a showcase for exceptional wheel-to-wheel racing around a classic circuit.

The Festival of Speed began as a hill-climb event for enthusiasts and has evolved into an international celebration of excellence in automotive design, sport and manufacturing.

Members’ Meeting was revived in 2014 for members of the Goodwood Road and Racing Club (GRRC) to continue the tradition of the club motorsport events held at the Goodwood Motor Circuit circuit from 1949-66. It has quickly become the eagerly anticipated opener for the historic motor racing season.
