During their rounds, each team had the opportunity to test their golfing skills and try different challenges including the flop shop challenge and longest drive, but all of the different activities didn’t deter from the amazing scores that were unfolding on the course. The individual competition was claimed by Simon Futcher from Veolia, who carded 44 stableford points. The team competition was won by Steve Christopher and his team from NSF solutions with a score of 93 and were crowned the official winners of the Goodwood Estate Supplier’s Golf Day. A big congratulations to all involved.
Attention then turned to the auction to help with the fundraising efforts, with numerous money can't buy prizes including memorabilia, experiences and holidays.
George Hannah, Event Organiser, said: “We are delighted that through everyone’s kind generosity, the total raised Winston’s Wish was £930. Thank you to our main sponsor of the day, Charles Piton Ltd, and those who sponsored holes around the course including NJS Group, ProClean, Veolia, Imagen, Vibration, Arena Seating, SEP Event, OTT Golf, Apsley Tailors, Q’dos, Liftec, ADI TV, CSG and LiveUK. We look forward to holding an even bigger and better event in 2019.”
