Breakfast Club FAQs
Section One: General Event Information
What is Breakfast Club?
It’s a no-cost, all welcome motoring show where the visitors and their cars/bikes are the stars. According to a different theme for each event, motoring enthusiast who own cars relevant to the theme can register to have their car displayed on the famous Goodwood Motor Circuit grid, whilst visitors can come along to take a look at the incredible static display and enjoy a hearty Goodwood breakfast.
Can I drive my car round the track at Breakfast Club?
The display at Breakfast Club is a static display only, so there’s no driving apart from what we hope will be a delightful early-morning run to the Motor Circuit on some of Sussex’s finest roads. If you want to get behind the wheel, check out our Ultimate Driving experiences.
When is Breakfast Club?
Breakfast Club is held on five Sundays across the event season at Goodwood, on the first Sunday of the month, with breaks during Festival of Speed and Goodwood Revival.
Where is Breakfast Club held/How do I get there?
Breakfast Club takes place at Goodwood Motor Circuit on the Goodwood Estate in West Sussex. For directions please visit www.goodwood.com/BreakfastClub
Please arrive and leave with due respect to local residents and speed limits. Please pay attention to instructions from the marshals and do not drive recklessly.
What time is Breakfast Club?
Public car parks open at 6.30am for each Breakfast Club event. Entry to the event is from 7.00am and the event finishes at 12 noon. Attendees do not have to stay for the duration of the event. If you arrive before the gates open at 7am you will be asked to wait in the car park – please do not congregate along the roads leading to the Motor Circuit as this is dangerous. Please respect and follow the Marshals instructions.
What is there to do at Breakfast Club?
For each event, there is a display of cars and bikes relevant to the theme on static display on the Motor Circuit. You will be able to walk the grid and view the amazing selection of cars in close proximity. As well as the grid display, there is also the opportunity to try your hand at our Ultimate Driving products, and view the event from above with a helicopter ride (subject to weather). We also have a range of event partners and exhibitors.
What breakfast options are there?
There are a number of different breakfast options available at Breakfast Club events to make sure that you are fuelled and ready to explore the display. You can tuck into a delicious full-English with Goodwood produce at the Jackie Stewart Pavilion (£15pp). The Old Control Tower Café is also open and serves everything from coffee to bacon baps. If you want to grab and go, then visit one of the Goodwood Organic concessions, or one of our other suppliers serving coffee, porridge and everything in-between.
Where can I park?
On arrival at Breakfast Club please follow the yellow event signs to get to the nearest public car park. All car parks are free. You will be directed by marshals, please follow their instructions closely and drive with due care and respect for other visitors and local residents.
Weather permitted, we have put in place a wet ground parking plan to ensure our customers have an enjoyable and risk-free experience. In the event of waterlogged car parks, Breakfast Club guests will be directed to car parks 8 & 9 at Goodwood Racecourse, which is only a couple of minutes up the road and then taken directly to the event via shuttle buses free of charge.
*Please note; you will be notified whether we will run wet or dry surface parking in the pre-event email sent the day before the event.
What disabled access is available?
Vehicles that display a valid Disabled Badge can access the Motor Circuit site with proximity parking offered approximately 50 metres from the main grid. There is level tarmac between this area of parking and the grid. Disabled toilet facilities are available in the Jackie Stewart Pavilion, which is also fully equipped with a disabled lift to enable guests to enjoy a seated breakfast on the first floor with excellent views of the grid. Breakfast is served in the Jackie Stewart Pavilion between 0700hrs and 1030hrs with no bookings – early arrival is advised.
If attendees require assistance or a carer to join them at Breakfast Club, please contact the ticket office who will book an additional support ticket for the event. Please contact the team on 01243 755055.
Can I take photos?
Yes of course! Please make sure you share them with us and other Breakfast Club enthusiasts on our Facebook page or by tagging us on Instagram.
We kindly ask that you do not congregate at the side of the roads on approach to the Motor Circuit to take photos as this is dangerous. Please respect and follow instructions from the Marshals.
Can I touch/get into the cars?
We kindly ask that unless specifically invited to do so by the owner, you do not touch or get into any of the cars on the grid.
Section Two: Display of cars on the grid
Do I have to register my car for display or can I just come along?
You can do either. If you have a car that fits one of our themes then please do consider registering it to be displayed on the grid. If you don’t, then please come along as a visitor to enjoy the display and a delicious Goodwood breakfast. Please note, you will be required to sign up for a free ticket in order to gain entry to the event. Please do this at www.goodwood.com/BreakfastClub
Do I need to sign up to attend if I’ve registered my car?
Each site or grid access pass grants access to the event for 1x adult (over 18). If you wish to bring additional guests with you they will need to sign up for visitor tickets separately.
How do I register my car to be displayed on the grid?
All applications are made through our website. Please visit www.goodwood.com/BreakfastClub to do this.
If you don’t already have an account at Goodwood (you haven’t registered or bought any of our event tickets before) you will need to fill in your details. Once you have confirmation of your account by email you will be able to log in through My Goodwood and then add your vehicle/vehicles to your account. At this same point, you will also then be able to register your interest in being considered for on-site access at the various Breakfast Club days.
Applications are considered in chronological order so the earlier you apply, the greater chance you have of being successful. Make sure that all your details are complete and correct.
Again, if you simply want to come along and join in the fun, you will not need to do this.
How do I find out what the themes are and if my car fits?

What is a site access pass?
A site pass means your car has been accepted to form part of the display. This pass grants you access to the Motor Circuit where you will be directed to park in the general track area or in the Paddock area by our Marshals. Please pay close attention to their instructions and park only where directed to do so.
You MUST print out your pass and fully display it in your windscreen on the day of the event to gain access to the Motor Circuit.
What is a grid access pass?
Cars of special interest, rarity, or the most special within the theme may be chosen for display on the Grid area of the Motor Circuit. This pass grants you access to the Motor Circuit where you will be directed to park on the Grid by our Marshals. Please pay close attention to their instructions and park only where directed to do so.
You MUST print out your pass and fully display it in your windscreen on the day of the event to gain access to the Motor Circuit.
What if I forget my pass on the day?
Please ensure that you print out your site or grid pass and in good time and keep it with your vehicle. It must be clearly displayed on your windscreen to gain access. The Marshals will only allow access to vehicles with these passes and if you forget yours you will not be granted access to the site.
My car has been declined from grid/site access – what do I do?
We receive thousands of applications for Breakfast Club but only have a limited number of spaces available on the Circuit. Please make sure you apply only to events that are relevant to your vehicle. We consider applications in chronological order and are always focussed on choosing a fantastic mix to demonstrate the theme. If your car has been declined, please do still sign-up to come along to the event, there is public parking available opposite the main entry gates.
I have been successful – what do I do now?
Please ensure you print out and display your access pass well in advance – it’s critical that you have this with you on the day. Then why not share with us on Facebook your preparation in the run up to the event? Then all you need to do is get your car ready and turn up! Each car registered on the grid grants access for 1 adult. If you are bringing additional guests with you, please make sure they have signed up for a free ticket to the event at www.goodwood.com/BreakfastClub

Section Three: Ticketing process
Do I need a ticket for Breakfast Club?
Yes, you are required to sign-up in advance of each Breakfast Club to receive your free ticket to the event. Please note there is no charge for this. Each ticket sign up allows access to the site for 1x adult (over 18). Children are not required to sign up for a ticket, but must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Please note you will not be sent a physical ticket for the event, but you must print out your confirmation email and bring it with you on the day to gain access to the event.
Why do I now need to sign up to attend Breakfast Club?
In order to make sure that everyone who attends have an enjoyable and, most importantly, safe experience we need to be aware of the number and details or visitors that are on-site, and ensure that we don’t exceed the maximum number of visitors that the site and traffic management network can safely permit. We have made this decision in conjunction with our event operations teams and the local council.
I’m a GRRC member – do I still need to sign up for a ticket?
Yes. Breakfast Club is a public event and therefore GRRC members will still need to ensure that they have signed up for a free ticket to gain access to the event. You will also need to pre-register your car if you wish it to be considered for display on the grid. You cannot gain access to the site via your GRRC sticker and will need to have a valid grid or site pass for this. You can do both of these things via your MyGoodwood account.
Is there a cost to attend?
No. Breakfast Club remains a free event both to attend and bring a car to. All parking is also free. The only cost is if you wish to purchase a tasty breakfast on the day. Ahead of each Breakfast Club an allocation of free tickets will be made available and you will just need to sign up in advance to secure your place.
Can I still get into the event on the day if I don’t sign up to attend?
We encourage you to make sure you sign up for free tickets ahead of the event to make sure that you are guaranteed access. We cannot guarantee to be able to let people into the site once we have hit our safe capacity for the day.
How many people can I sign up for a ticket for?
Each adult will have to sign up to attend each Breakfast Club. This is due to the huge popularity of the events. Under-18s are not required to have a ticket but must be accompanied by a responsible adult. If you wish to bring friends or family with you who are over 18 they will need to sign up for a separate ticket.
Can I bring children with me?
Yes. Under-18s are welcome to attend Breakfast Club – it’s a lovely family day out.
Can I bring a dog with me?
Yes, dogs are welcome at Breakfast Club – please ensure that they are on a lead, and that you clean up after them. We request that no dogs are left in unattended cars either in the car park or on the Motor Circuit site.
Do I need to sign up for each event?
Yes. You will need to sign up for a ticket for each event you wish to attend. The allocation of free tickets will be made available ahead of each event and an email will go out to previous attendees to let you know. Make sure you are always notified by signing up to our newsletter or by following us on Facebook.
Will you tell me when I can get tickets for other events?
Yes, make sure you are always notified by signing up to our newsletter or by following us on Facebook.
What is the capacity of each Breakfast Club?
There are 8,000 free tickets available for visitors wishing to attend each Breakfast Club event. We cap the free tickets available at this number to minimize the risk of overcrowding and to ensure we have proper health and safety measures in place.
