The 20th Anniversary GRRC European Grand Tour FAQs
It is completely free for Members to attend these drives. The idea is that if you live in Germany, Austria, Italy or France, you are now able to join us on one of the routes. The only thing you’ll need to pay for is fuel in your car, food and drinks and any accommodation that might be required!
Not at all. You can join us for the whole trip or just for a part of it. All we ask is that you register your interest with us (see left). We will then contact you with the final instructions for the route and you can inform us, at that point, where you will be joining and leaving us.
We decided to create a unique driving tour for our Members this year to celebrate our 20th anniversary. In the past we have held ‘Regional Drives’ throughout the UK and these have been a great way of getting out and about, meeting new Members and driving some fantastic roads. Our Grand Tour follows a similar principal, just around Europe.
No dining options have been included for Members within each drive, however we have made recommendations for coffee stops along each day. These are optional and Members will have to pay for any food/drink purchased.
We would recommend researching local places for dinner throughout the trips to avoid disappointment.
All Members must have their own travel and driving insurance to join us on this trip. As we will be driving in Europe, we would recommend researching the laws and regulations related to driving in each country we visit prior to departure. The Club will take no responsibility for any damage, accident or incident along the route.
If we have to cancel any of our drives, we will contact Members at our earliest convenience to confirm this. We would recommend that you take out travel insurance when booking hotels, flights, euro-tunnel, ferry crossings to ensure you are covered in this eventuality.
The Club are not responsible for assisting with any roadside assistance that might be required along any of the routes. We are unable to also provide any cover for parts and labour should you require mechanical assistance with your car. We would therefore recommend that you take out appropriate travel insurance and European breakdown cover to ensure you are covered.
