Chris joined Golf At Goodwood from the Royal Golf Club in Bahrain where he was a teaching professional, and previous to that a professional at Hexham Golf Club in Northumberland. Chris has a tremendous amount of experience coaching all levels from beginners to elite players, coordinating ladies and junior coaching programmes and producing memorable teaching and practicing experiences.

Following early success in tournament golf, Matthew realised his passion lay in coaching. After playing golf for 10 years, he attended David Leadbetter’s Academy in the UK to develop his game as well as his coaching ambition.

Matthew Tipper spent time working in Malaysia, Dubai and Portugal before coaching for Worthing-born master instructor, David Leadbetter’s Academy in China.

After setting up a national academy at Toya Golf Club in Poland, Matthew coached one of Europe’s brightest talents, world number 52 and two time DP World Tour winner, Polish professional Adrian Meronk.

Matthew has represented the world’s leading short game coach James Sieckmann assisting his PGA and LPGA tour players across the USA, Europe and Asia.

He also assists James Sieckmann with his PGA tour players including Stewart Cink, Adibarn Lahiri, Brandon Hage, Cameron Tringale and LPGA stars Andrea Lee and I K Kim.

When working in the UK Matthew will be based across Golf At Goodwood delivering short game sessions to players of all abilities.

A two-time graduate of Chichester University, Steve has an Honours degree in Sport and Exercise Science and a Masters degree in Exercise Physiology. He is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), Precision Nutrition Coach and holds extensive qualifications in personal training.
