Due to the build of thoroughbred horses the maximum weight to ride in training yards and undertake the race is 11 stone dressed. As a self-funded charity race the individual is expected to cover the cost of their own equipment and travel whilst training. If you foresee this as a barrier to entry, please make us aware on your application as there may be ways in which we can support you.
