There are few things finer than watching a dog and its owner exercising together and having fun. Across the weekend, May 28th and 29th, visitors to our brand-new event, Goodwoof, will be able to watch and join in with international dog trainer, Adrian Stoica and his team as they demonstrate the special skills which have led him to be the holder of no less than thirty Disc Dog European records.

Disc Dog is a sport where dogs and their owners compete in events such as distance catching and freestyle catching, usually to music.

As a team, we have a deep understanding of what really amuses our dogs. We know that they love playing together with their owners and with other dogs.

Four times Disc Dog World Champion, Adrian puts his success down to his ability to tap into what makes a dog happy first and foremost.  He says, “As a team, we have a deep understanding of what really amuses our dogs. We know that they love playing together with their owners and with other dogs, getting plenty of exercise and fresh air, but as they each have their own personality, we always demonstrate how to play with your own dog in a way that they will particularly love.”

During the weekend, Adrian and his team will be found in the Action Sports area.  The dynamic and adrenaline-pumping shows are the culmination of expert training and technique mastering but are, ultimately, a wonderful celebration of the mutual trust and fun to be had between canine and human.  Visitors will also have the chance to join in and learn the basics of Disc Dog in the Have a Go Area with Adrian’s specialist trainers.
