A World in Motion
The FIA’s involvement in motor sport is almost as old as the automobile itself. In 1950, the federation inaugurated the Formula One World Championship and thus began the FIA’s evolution into a global motor sports force.
Track to road
The FIA’s two pillars, Sport and Mobility, meet in the evolving transfer of technologies developed for racing to road-going vehicles. The result is safer, more sustainable and more accessible motoring for all.
Gran Turismo Sport
Visitors to the FIA stand will get the chance to test out the upcoming Gran Turismo Sport on a state-of-the-art simulator.
Smart Cities
By 2050 the world urban population is expected to nearly double, making urbanization one of the 21st century’s most transformative trends. The FIA Smart Cities initiative was launched to encourage discussion around potential solutions to fill the gaps in modern mobility systems.
