Huawei presents HADO
Huawei return as a partner of Future Lab, bringing stories of technological innovations that break boundaries and push speed to its limits.
This year they present HADO, the world's first techno sport, combining physical sport and e-sport through Augmented Reality (AR).
Play to win with Huawei and UK HADO! Played on a dedicated HADO court, and enabled by Huawei 5G, players wear AR headgear and armband sensors; enabling them to see virtual features, wield virtual shields and throw virtual energy balls inspired by the hadoken of comics and gaming.
Combining physical skill and mental strategy, each fast-paced game lasts just 80 seconds. Most points scored wins the match. In the case of a tie you will enter overtime and first point scored wins the match.
Enabled by Huawei 5G
This activation is presented in collaboration with UK HADO, the leading organisation for HADO in the UK and Ireland; developing partnerships, organising tournaments and creating new arenas; including at RAF Halton, the RAF centre for physical fitness training.
