Opening dates and times
We are open most Sundays and Mondays from March through until October. Afternoon tea is served in the Ballroom from 1:00pm with the last sitting at 4:10pm and will follow your tour. If you're booked onto the 3:30pm tour, your tea will take place before your tour so please arrive earlier for this. For more information surrounding our dates and times, please click here.
Disabled access
Please let us know in advance if you are bringing any disabled guests, by contacting the Ticket Office on 01243 755055.
Goodwood always welcomes visitors and guests with disabilities. The House is fully accessible for wheelchair users, with ramp access available at the Front Entrance. All rooms open to the public are situated on the ground floor and there are no stairs to negotiate. An accessible lavatory is also available in the State Apartments.
Disabled visitors driving themselves are welcome to park their vehicles on either side of the turning circle at the front of the House; alternatively, if they are not driving they may be dropped off and then collected at the Front Door.
We have a hearing loop available on request for visitors on guided tours at no charge, but this should also be booked in advance.
Dietary and allergens
We can accommodate allergens and dietary requirements and this information is asked for at the time of booking. If there are any changes or if you’re unsure of anything please do contact us in advance by calling the Ticket Office on 01243 755055.
How much notice do I have to give if I want to cancel?
Orders for tickets may be cancelled, exchanged or returned provided that this occurs within 48 hours of purchase.
Larger groups
For larger groups of 20+, we kindly ask you to contact the Ticket Office on 01243 755055 or ticket.office@goodwood.com to book your visit.

Where can I park?
Coaches: Coaches can drive up to the front of the House to drop guests off. Please then ask your driver to park in the Ballroom car park (the large car park on the left just after you drive past the House).
Cars: Please park in the Ballroom car park (mentioned above). Disabled visitors driving themselves are welcome to park their vehicles on either side of the turning circle at the front of the House; alternatively, if they are not driving they may be dropped off and then collected at the Front Door.
When is the last entry to Goodwood House?
3.30pm is the last tour around Goodwood House. The last Afternoon Tea is served at 4:10pm with Goodwood House closing at 5pm. If you’re booked onto the 3:30pm tour, please have tea beforehand.
Can I come on the day if I've not booked?
All visitors to Goodwood House must be pre-booked either online or through our Ticket office. HHA members should also pre-book by calling the Ticket Office on 01243 755055.
What is the time slot for when booking?
When booking your Afternoon Tea and Tour, you will be prompted to select your time slot - this time slot is your tour time. Afternoon tea will follow your tour except if you’re booked onto the 3:30pm tour, please have your tea beforehand.
How long is the tour?
The guided tour will last approximately 60 minutes.
How long should I allow for afternoon tea?
Below is a table of the timings for the day, make sure you are aware of the timeslot that you have booked your tour for and Afternoon Tea will follow.

Are gift vouchers available?
Gift vouchers are available for both Afternoon Tea and Tour, or simply a Guided Tour of Goodwood House.
How do I redeem my gift voucher?
To redeem your voucher, booking must be made in advance, prior to arrival. Please book by contacting the Ticket Office on 01243 755055.
Do you accept dogs?
Please note we do not allow dogs, except for assistance dogs.

Do you have a shop on site?
We do not have a shop at Goodwood House however, it is possible to buy postcards, guide books and the Glorious Goodwood biography from the front desk (subject to availability).
