Following Government guidance, the estate will be closed until further notice. We will update the calendar as restrictions are eased and look forward to welcoming you. Thank you for your ongoing support as we continue to adapt to the ever-changing circumstances.
Disabled access
Please let us know in advance if you are bringing any disabled guests, by contacting the Ticket Office on 01243 755055.
Goodwood always welcomes visitors and guests with disabilities. The House is fully accessible for wheelchair users, with ramp access available at the Front Entrance. All rooms open to the public are situated on the ground floor and there are no stairs to negotiate. An accessible lavatory is also available in the State Apartments.
Information sheets are available in every room to provide details on works of art where labels are inaccessible to wheelchair users. These are also available to visitors in large print on request.
Disabled visitors driving themselves are welcome to park their vehicles on either side of the turning circle at the front of the House; alternatively, if they are not driving they may be dropped off and then collected at the Front Door.
We have a hearing loop available on request for visitors on guided tours at no charge, but this should also be booked in advance.
Dietary and allergens
So we can accomodate these, please let us know in advance if you have any dietary requests or allergens by contacting the Ticket Office on 01243 755055.
Can we sit together if we are in a bubble?
Yes if following the Government guidelines around forming a bubble, you may sit together. Unfortunately outside of bubbles, we cannot allow mixing of households.
Will you sit us at a different table if from a different household?
We can only accept one household (or bubble) per booking in line with Tier 2 guidelines.
How many people can we book for?
A maximum of 6 people however they all must be from one household (or one household and support bubble).
If I bring under 12s are they exempt from the exceptions?
No – Under 5’s are exempt.
What if I no longer want to come, can I now have a refund?
We can credit your account so you can re-book for the new year.
How much notice do I have to give if I want to cancel?
Please allow 48 hours to cancel your booking, if you can no longer attend.
What safety measures do you have in place?
We are running at a reduced capacity and a new table layout which allows for social distancing in between tables as per the Government guidelines.
We ask that all guests wear a face covering at all times. unless seated at a table.
Please follow the one way directions when moving around the house and follow social distancing at all times.
Our tours are now self-guided to reduce groups of people, please follow the directions given by our staff and signage on the day.
Hand sanitiser is available for you to use.

Where can I park?
Coaches: Coaches can drive up to the front of the House to drop guests off. Please then ask your driver to park in the Ballroom car park (the large car park on the left just after you drive past the House).
Cars: Please park in the Ballroom car park (mentioned above). Disabled visitors driving themselves are welcome to park their vehicles on either side of the turning circle at the front of the House; alternatively, if they are not driving they may be dropped off and then collected at the Front Door.
When is the last entry to Goodwood House?
3.50pm is the last entry to Goodwood House, as this is our final tour time for the day.
What is the time slot for when booking?
When booking your Afternoon Tea and Tour, you will be prompted to select your time slot - this time slot is your tour time.
You are welcome to arrive before or after your tour time to take your afternoon tea however, please do allow enough time before your tour for this. We advise to allow at least an hour for your afternoon tea.
Can I come on the day if I've not booked?
Due to strict social distancing measures, all visitors to Goodwood House must be pre-booked either online or through our Ticket office.
How long is the tour?
Please note tour length can vary but the tour is usually 1 hour 15 minutes, depending on the guide.
How long should I allow for afternoon tea?
Please allow at least an hour for your afternoon tea. You can take your afternoon tea before or after your tour time.

Are gift vouchers available?
Gift vouchers are available for both Afternoon Tea and Tour, or simply a Guided Tour of Goodwood House.
How do I redeem my gift voucher?
To redeem your voucher, booking must be made in advance, prior to arrival. Please book by contacting the Ticket Office on 01243 755055.
Do you accept dogs?
Please note we do not allow dogs, except for assistance dogs.

Do you have a shop on site?
We do not have a shop at Goodwood House however, it is possible to buy postcards, guide books and the Glorious Goodwood biography from the front desk (subject to availability).
If you're visiting us Monday to Friday, the Goodwood Shop based at the Motor Circuit will be open 10am - 4pm.
