The event, which saw 116 visiting aircraft, was a chance for Goodwood to showcase its state-of-the-art investment which includes a new aero lounge, flight planning room, aerodrome café, and rooftop observation deck.

Goodwood Aerodrome General Manager, Dave Ford, commented; “It was brilliant to see so many pilots enjoying the new facilities; it certainly heralds a new era for us following investment in all areas. The array of aircraft on show was superb, and it was great to be able to raise funds for our charity, Canine Partners.”

Aside from the aircraft, spot landing and fault-finding competitions put aviation knowledge to the test, while tethered hot air balloon flights highlighted the breath-taking views on offer across the Solent.
