If you witness anything suspicious on site, report it to Event Control. All emergencies and any issues that cannot be dealt with directly should be called through to Event Control immediately.
FIRE PROCEDURE
If you discover or are notified of smoke or flames you must:
1. Raise the alarm (if you are outside, do this verbally).
2. Contact Goodwood Control and clearly state your location via Radio or on 01243 755 110. (DO NOT use the word “emergency” over the radio).
3. Evacuate the area via the nearest fire exit, leave all belongings behind. DO NOT RUN.
4. Only extinguish fires if they are small and you have been trained.
5. Go to the nearest fire Assembly Point and await further instruction.
6. DO NOT go back in to the building/ area until the “all clear” has been given by officials.
7. Stay in contact with Goodwood Control to keep them informed and updated.

NO INFORMATION SHOULD BE GIVEN OVER THE RADIO.
2. Once reported, stay at your location with the child or vulnerable person. A member of the Goodwood team will come to you.
3. The child or vulnerable person should then be accompanied by TWO members of staff.
4. DO NOT hand over the child or vulnerable person until the police have verified the parent, guardian or carer.
LOST AND FOUND DOGS
If a dog is reported lost, please contact Goodwoof Control. Take as much information as you can about the dog breed, colour, size and where it was last seen.
If a dog is found, check to see if it is wearing its dog ticket and call the telephone number. If there is no ticket, or no telephone number, please report it to Goodwoof Control and take it straight to the on-site vet where it will be held until its owner claims it.
SUSPICIOUS PACKAGE OR BOMB THREAT
On finding a suspicious package, do not touch. Try to quickly establish who owns it and advise your nearest Safety Steward or Supervisor. DO NOT USE YOUR RADIO OR MOBILE PHONE. Remain calm and assist as directed to cordon off the area.
PUBLIC MESSAGES
Should an incident occur at the Goodwoof please refrain from posting anything on social media, all communications will be managed by the Goodwood PR team. If you are approached by a guest asking for further information, please ask them to listen out for any public announcements over the loudspeaker. If you are approached by a representative of the press, please direct all enquiries to the Goodwood PR team who are based in Taittinger Champagne Bar. DO NOT pass comment on the incident.

Uniform, Event Casual process
· You will receive a WHITE Goodwoof Polo on the morning of your first shift. Please ensure that you bring a spare t-shirt to change back into on the day of your last shift, as you will need to return this back to the Event Staffing Team when you check out. (This excludes our Transport Teams, please refer to your job descriptions for uniform requirements).
· If the weather is a bit chilly, you are welcome to wear a WHITE or BLACK base layer underneath your Goodwoof polo shirt.
· Please dress for the weather, come rain or shine! We will provide rain ponchos, however, please feel free wear waterproof trousers, wellies, coats etc.
· You will also need to collect a timesheet, Goodwoof Staff wristband (note that these are weekend wristbands, if you are working both dates please do not dispose of your wristband) and back pocket guide upon checking in. The Event Staffing team will be around to provide you with any further information regarding your role/shift should you need this.
· For Event Casuals and internal volunteers, you will now collect your lunch when passing through Staff HQ. We will also have cereal bars on offer for breakfast.
