Goodwood for Business
Our Goodwood for Business Networking events are a great way of meeting new people at The Kennels which over the past couple of years, has become even more important after not being able to for some time.
Open to members and non-members, our networking format will create fantastic opportunities to network with useful contacts and to build business relationships with local, like-minded professionals as well as to listen to an inspiring guest speaker from Goodwood and beyond.
Business networking returned in September, with our CEO, Chris Woodgate, discussing how Goodwood navigated the tough times through COVID-19, all the lockdowns and also, stepping out of our comfort zone and doing things differently including Goodwood Speedweek.
In November, Motor Circuit General Manager, Sam Medcraft discussed the Biomass Boiler that was installed at Goodwood. This was switched live in November 2021. Sam talked about the project and how it will see a reduction in the estate’s carbon footprint of 5.2million kgs of CO2 per year. The new combined heat and power boiler system will provide energy to a number of the largest venues across the estate and will burn a mixture of straw bales left over from the Festival of Speed, and woodchip provided by the forestry team.
In 2022, we already have an exciting array of guests joining us including Goodwood’s Events Managing Director, Adam Waterworth and our Goodwood Education Officer, Emma Crane-Robinson. For more information, please click here.
