Why should I support?
We have had to take the difficult decision not to hold the Festival of Speed and Revival this year. For a business like ours, which is all about bringing people together to enjoy the things they love, social distancing has had a catastrophic impact on our ability to operate. It is a worrying time and we are doing what we can to salvage a future for our events.
We rely on our headline events to generate all of our operating profit, their absence places not only future events but even the long-term future of the estate under considerable strain. It is our hope that, with the renewal of the Goodwood Supporters’ Association (GSA), our members and the wider motorsport community will stand beside us as we weather this storm and preserve motorsport at Goodwood.
What is the GSA?
The GSA is a group of people that come together to support Goodwood through various challenges. First created twenty-five years ago, initially to reopen the Goodwood Motor Circuit, the challenge today is very different, not one about planning approval as it was then, but one that threatens to undo so much of the original work that has made it possible for us to share the passion and enjoyment of motor racing at Goodwood. The new GSA will be vital in keeping this dream alive. We've created a series of benefits to recognise the contributions of members of the GSA at different levels. These gestures of appreciation are our way of thanking all of you for your invaluable support.
