Mindfulness is a life skill; it is the opportunity of stepping out of ‘automatic’ and stepping into conscious awareness where you can simply observe your thoughts, feelings, physical sensations with friendly curiosity without being caught up in them. It provides an opportunity to relax, slow down and experience ‘being’ in the moment. From this space you can learn to ‘respond’ to external pressures, to take more care of yourself, rather than ‘react’ and put yourself under more pressure.
