For those of you that are unaware of hydro pole, spin and jump, below is a brief description of each of the classes and the benefits that it reaps. They will be led by our new, fully qualified aqua instructor, Zeus.
Aqua Jump
Get yourself in the pool for this fun, alternative workout. Incorporating a mini elastic bed on the floor of the pool, giving you the base for a variety of low impact, aerobic exercises.
The jumping movements condition muscles and improve the cardiovascular system.
Aqua Spin
Aqua spin classes are specially designed to improve your fitness, burning up to 800kcal/h and sculpting your whole body.
The class combines high intensity aqua cycling with circuit training, making the most of water resistance. While the cycling section will focus mainly on your legs, the water aerobics section consists of press ups, dips, sit ups and much more, to work your upper body and give you a total body work out.
Aqua Pole
The steel poles within the water allow for more than 150 different exercises, working the shoulders, abdominals, legs and buttocks. Side benefits include improved posture, flexibility and coordination, and physical therapy for arthritis or sports injuries.
We will also be offering complimentary Personal Training sessions over the weekend for those that are yet to experience our amazing instructors. They will be available to induct you into the new gym and ensure that you get fully settled in.
