Golf At Goodwood raise over £1,000 for Children in Need
Inviting Goodwood staff and members of the club to bring their vehicles for a good scrub in exchange for a donation, the team rolled up their sleeves and spent all day on Friday 18 November making sure as many cars as possible were left sparkling.
The team received professional car detailing equipment from Rebellion Automotive, while Golf At Goodwood General Manager Stuart Gillett was on hand to offer his support in the form of hot drinks. A total of £502.07 was raised by the car wash alone.
On Saturday 19 November, 56 members took part in the Children in Need Club Stableford, with all of the entry fees going to the initiative. Ian Montgomery shot a superb round of 46 points, which included three birdies, to take the overall victory. He is now being affectionately referred to as ‘Colin’ by his piers.
The total amount raised across the two days was £1003,70 and Golf At Goodwood is hugely appreciative of everyone who helped make the events a success.
