November saw the start of the Junior Matchplay championships, where the top 16 juniors in the nett Order of Merit competed to become the 2023 Matchplay Champion.

The round of 16 kicked off on a windy Sunday with the juniors eager to advance through the next round. The standout result from the round was a brilliant win by Adam Cort, winning his match 8&7.

The Quarter finals followed a week after, with eight players remaining looking to reach final four! William Hauffe was the standout performer on the chilly morning, winning his match 5&3!

The semi-finals followed, with both matches being decided by an extra play-off hole. William Hauffe and Adam Cort were the two victors, making their way to the final!

The final took place on a cold and wet day at the start of December, with neither player receiving any shots off of each other. William Hauffe took to the conditions the better of the two and won the match 4&3 to become the 2023 Junior Matchplay Champion!
The final event of the year takes place on Sunday 17 December, with a 9-hole Texas scramble on The Park course and a presentation for the events that have taken place this season. We hope to see as many juniors as possible!
