Short Game Area Update
The footage shows the scale of work that has been completed to date, with all greens now visible on the six-hole par 3 course, averaging approximately 150 square metres per green, as well as comprehensive work completed on the putting green situated between the 1st tee and 18th green, at 400 square metres.
The putting green has had a gravel base and drainage already installed and to those eagle-eyed viewers who may notice some new mounding at the back of the 18th green, this has been installed to improve the visibility of the approach and surrounding areas of the 18th green whilst ensuring the putting green isn’t visible to those finishing their round. Whilst difficult to tell from the drone footage, there has been substantial land movement to add challenge and character to the holes, with some more still to take place.
The next phase of the work is to shape out the short game area pitching green which is taking place as we speak. This is an 800 square metre green, twice the size of the putting green, which will have bunkers and many different chipping and pitching areas to enjoy.
We will provide a detailed update in the coming weeks, with more footage which will hopefully help visualise how the finished product will look.
