Goodwood’s pigs are a mix of two rare breeds (Gloucester Old Spots and Saddlebacks) plus the Large White Boar.


Built in 1787 by celebrated architect James Wyatt to house the third Duke of Richmond’s prized fox hounds, The Kennels was known as one of the most luxurious dog houses in the world!


Estate milk was once transformed into ice-creams, bombes, and syllabubs, and the Georgian ice house still stands in the grounds in front of Goodwood House.









As the private clubhouse for all of the Estate’s sporting and social members, it offers personal service and a relaxed atmosphere


Just beyond Goodwood House along the Hillclimb, the 2nd Dukes banqueting house was also known as "one of the finest rooms in England" (George Vertue 1747).






Many items came from Gordon castle in Scotland when it left family ownership, coming out from storage exclusively for Hound Lodge.

We have been host to many incredible film crews using Goodwood as a backdrop for shows like Downton Abbey, Hollywood Blockbusters like Venom: let there be Carnage and the Man from U.N.C.L.E.


The origins of the collection lay in the possessions of Louise de Keroualle, Duchess of Portsmouth, and Duchess of Aubigny in France, to whom some of the paintings originally belonged.

The Motor Circuit was known as RAF Westhampnett, active from 1940 to 1946 as a Battle of Britain station.
We have a range of dedicated facilities across the event site specially designed to meet the needs of visitors with impaired mobility.
Please be aware the event is entirely on grass, parts of which are on uneven ground. While an electric wheelchair or mobility scooter may assist your visit to Goodwoof, there may be areas that are less accessible. We hope that you have a wonderful weekend at Goodwood.
On nearing the event, standard yellow road signs marked with a disabled symbol will direct you to a dedicated parking area.
We provided dedicated disabled parking at the front of all our public car parks, please display your Blue Badge or accessible parking permit and you’ll be directed there. There is no need to pre-book in advance.
Electric mobility scooters and manual wheelchairs are available to hire from event Shopmobility and must be booked in advance of the event. To book equipment please follow the link below. Shopmobility will be based at the bus depot, just outside of the event and is open from 0930hrs until 1730hrs. If you need further information please call 01329 287749 and leave a message. Wheelchairs booked via Shopmobility are subject to their own terms and conditions.

In 2026, all Goodwoof tickets will be delivered via our digital ticketing platform.
It can take several days for all tickets to be loaded into the Goodwood Tickets App, please don’t worry if you don’t see all your tickets there immediately. We’ll make sure all of your tickets arrive well in advance of the event.

There is complimentary parking, with no booking required. Please follow the directional signage. The car park is open from 0745hrs and will close at sunset latest.
Please bear in mind that all parking is on grass and can be uneven so appropriate footwear is advised. Overnight parking/camping will not be permitted in any car park.
Parking on approach roads is not permitted and dogs are not to be left in public vehicles under any circumstances.
