Set amidst the beauty of the Goodwood Estate, these four charming holiday cottages offer countryside luxury and comfort in equal measure, giving you space to kick off your wellies and feel at home.
Choose from the generous three-bedroom Cowman’s and Dairymaid’s Cottages, perfect for families and larger gatherings, or the more intimate two-bedroom Bay and Chestnut Cottages, made for smaller escapes. Each has its own personality, but all offer that unmistakable feeling of being at home at Goodwood.
Dairymaid's Cottage
Dairymaid’s offers three thoughtfully designed bedrooms, each with its own bathroom (one en-suite), alongside inviting living spaces, a seperate dining room, a well‑equipped kitchen and the warmth of an open fire for an cosy countryside escape.
Cowman's Cottage
Cowman's combines three spacious en‑suite bedrooms (all with king size beds) with refined interiors, bespoke wallpapers and tiles, large, sumptuous beds, rich colour schemes and grand statement pieces, private gardens and convenient modern comforts, creating a polished retreat at the centre of the Goodwood estate.
Bay Cottage
A colourful country hideaway made for four.
Bay Cottage offers a more intimate way to stay at Goodwood. With two beautifully designed bedrooms and relaxed living spaces, it’s just the right size for couples, friends or a small family looking to make the estate their own for a few days.
Settle into an armchair by the fire, linger over breakfast in the kitchen or simply enjoy having your own little corner of the Goodwood estate to come home to.

Chestnut Cottage
A warm and welcoming country cottage with character at every turn.
Designed for up to four guests, Chestnut Cottage brings together all the comfort of a Goodwood stay in a more intimate setting. Ideal for two couples, friends or a small family, it’s a place to slow down, settle in and enjoy estate life at your own pace.
Whether you’re returning from a day exploring the estate, walking the South Downs or dining at The Kennels, Chestnut is a wonderfully welcoming place to call home.

Historic Comfort
Believed to have been first designed by famed English architect James Wyatt, the cottages combine country charm with contemporary comfort, from open fires and authentic range ovens to practical modern amenities and parking for up to three cars.
Set alongside the estate’s historic stables, the newest cottages, Bay and Chestnut, take their names from two familiar sights at Goodwood: horse colours and trees found across the estate.
The Dairy Cottages take their name from the former dairy, while the original cottage names reflect the roles of their former occupiers, as verified by local historian John Martin Robinson.
The Perfect Base
The Dairy Cottages offer a perfect base to curate your own personal escape. From local woodland walks to seaside adventures to visiting the historic cities of Chichester and Portsmouth, you will have everything you need within a short walk or drive.
Guests can enjoy full access to the Health & Wellbeing facilities at the Goodwood Hotel and Health Club, including an indoor swimming pool, as well as our two championship golf courses. Dine out at one of our exceptional restaurants including Farmer, Butcher, Chef. Guests are also welcome to use Goodwood's private members' club, The Kennels, during your stay.

We are passionate about regenerative and organic farming and our beef, pork and lamb, all reared on the estate, provide exquisite flavours.
