Since 1986, McLaren has kept every F1 car it has built. Would you like to see them? Then come join us on an exclusive tour of the McLaren Technology Centre.
REGISTRATION HAS NOW CLOSED
Unless your name is Jenson Button or Fernando Alonso, strolling into the workshop to watch the McLaren-Honda Formula 1 team prepare its cars is all but impossible. But that is exactly what you will be able to do if you join us for a hyper-exclusive tour of the McLaren Technology Centre in Woking on Tuesday 31 May.
We will meet at 1400hrs and will be taken by VIP shuttle along Lake Road to the futuristic-looking McLaren Technology Centre. There we will enjoy welcome refreshments and a film theatre presentation detailing the history of the company founded by Bruce McLaren in 1963, ahead of our behind-the-scenes tour.
On the McLaren ‘Boulevard’, we will see cars as diverse as Bruce’s first race car – a 1929 Austin 7 Ulster, plus a multi-wing McLaren M7C GP car, a bright orange Can-Am M8D, Niki Lauda’s 1984 title-winning MP4/2 and many, many more. Our visit has been timed to ensure that the current F1 cars are ‘at home’, so we will enjoy the rare opportunity to see them being worked on.
We will also tour the McLaren Production Centre and witness the construction of McLaren’s elite road car models.
