Starting from scratch, you’ll learn how to transform simple shapes into stunning 3D forms using just a pencil - perfect for adding a touch of elegance to your Christmas creations.

Once you've mastered the basics, you'll sketch a beautiful winter fruit or vegetable, such as a holly or walnut, before diving into the magic of watercolour. Learn how to blend soft, layered tones and create natural finishes that bring your artwork to life.

About Katharine Aimes

Katharine Amies is a leading British botanical artist with her work expressing the intimate essence of plants. 

Katharine trained at the Chelsea Physic Garden in 2001. Her work is represented in the Shirley Sherwood Collection of Botanical Art at Kew Gardens, which has the largest collection of contemporary botanical art in the world and the Hunt Institute at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, USA, the most prestigious botanical art collection globally.
