We couldn’t be more excited to announce that, brand new for 2023, Goodwoof will present the coolest dog disco yet. We’ve teamed up with internationally acclaimed paragons of house music, Ministry of Sound, to transform the Action Sports arena into a canine party venue – the Ministry of Hound. You and your hound can shake your tails to the sounds of our very special canine mix offered up by none other than sought after DJ Fat Tony and friends. The playlist will form the perfect backdrop to a day at Goodwoof reflecting all the fun and excitement of the best dog day out ever.

At mid-morning, and again during the afternoon, our Ministry of Hound DJs will pump out a selection of floor fillers while Goodwoof’s canine freestyle movement expert, Olga Jones, will teach dancers how to get down with their dogs using a special routine designed to unleash the dancefloor diva in everyone, both canine and human.
Ministry of Sound first opened its doors way back in September 1991 as the UK’s answer to New York’s cavernous house venues. Beginning life in a derelict bus garage in South London, things started small but rapidly the venue become the go to place for anyone seeking the best in house music and all the emerging UK talent.
Ministry of Sound supports Thai-based charity, Jai Dog Rescue whose mission is to transform the lives of street dogs in Thailand. Their team provides an invaluable lifeline for hundreds of stray and semi-roaming animals and Goodwoof is proud to collaborate with Ministry of Sound to create Ministry of Hound to raise the profile of our respective charity partners.
The dancefloor is open to all, with or without a canine dancing partner, to try out the routine, freestyle or just let loose in celebration of the joy of canine companionship. Space will be allocated on a first come first served basis on both days.
