We have been host to many incredible film crews using Goodwood as a backdrop for shows like Downton Abbey, Hollywood Blockbusters like Venom: let there be Carnage and the Man from U.N.C.L.E.


A temple-folly guarded by two sphinxes, the beautiful shell house was built in 1748 with collected shells and the floor made from horse teeth.

Much of the site is on grass and gravel, and while we endeavour to maintain good conditions underfoot, there may be uneven ground. We lay over 6km of temporary roads to ease movement around the site where possible.

We are committed to ensuring all guests enjoy their experience at our events and our staff are trained to recognise the Sunflower and offer support when needed.

There are several accessible toilet facilities across the site, which will be clearly indicated on the event map.

If you require a courtesy shuttle direct to Shopmobility, we suggest you access the site from the A27 direction (into Car Park A), which is where the quickest courtesy shuttle to Shopmobility will operate from. This service operates in the reverse for departure.
