Health Summit 2025 Live Stream

03rd October 2025

Watch the full live stream below of the Goodwood Health Summit, presented by Randox Health which took place on Thursday 2 October 2025 with a world-leading panel of experts to debate topics and trends around the intricate relationship between the soil microbiome and the human microbiome, highlighting how these two ecosystems influence each other and overall health.

From Soil to Surgery: Bridging Regenerative Agriculture and Human Health

In our opening session, Dr James Kinross described the “internal climate crisis” we face as our health is increasingly shaped by soil and the environment around us. He called for us to reconnect with nature as part of the solution. Dan Kittredge offered hope, showing how bringing “life” back to our soils can restore both food quality and human health. Watch the full session to discover how soil health could hold the key to a healthier future.

Policy, Food Culture, and Personal Health: Reimagining Food Systems for the 21st Century

In the second session, Dr Federica Amati warned that children today are growing up with less microbiome diversity, affecting immunity and development. She described the gut as a “mini-pharmacy” and stressed the need to nourish it early with whole foods. Patrick Holden CBE reminded us that soil is “the stomach of the plant” and that farming methods shape the nutrition on our plates. Together, they showed how our health depends not just on what we eat, but how it’s grown.

Expert Q&A Panel

The Q&A session explored critical topics surrounding soil health, regenerative farming practices and public health. Dr Chris van Tulleken chaired that panel with experts, which included Mr James Kinross, Dan Kittredge, Dr Federica Amati, Patrick Holden CBE and Goodwood Gut Health Programme Lead, Stephanie Moore.
